The Association for Family Renovation (AFFR) is formed for the purposes of providing social skills training, referrals, counseling to families at or below the poverty line, with a particular emphasis on single mothers, and for the promotion of the family restoration through programs that decrease unemployment, provide social skills, and other family tensions to combat family deterioration in the sixty-one distinct communities of the borough of the Bronx.
We are a non-profit organization that conducts activities that foster growth and independence by helping individuals and families to address life transitions and crisis, create networks of support and improve social functioning.
AFFR provides outreach services that connects to a full range of prevention services such as housing assistance, legal referrals, help accessing health care and informational services.
